Our company is located in a territory that hosts many aluminum die-casting businesses. As a consequence, many of our customers are either manufacturers of die-cast components themselves or strictly connected to the supply chain, e.g., they deal with metal surface treatments.
Aluminum’s ductility makes it easy to shape it into even the most intricate designs. However, surface imperfections like burrs, lumps, flakes, etc. (usually due to mold wear and/or molding parameters) during die-casting are quite unavoidable and can be more or less evident, depending on the specific case. As a consequence, surface finishing treatments are often made necessary to homogenize the surface for both aesthetic and functional reasons.
The extreme complexity of certain items and the unique requirements of some customers have led us to develop robotic cells that combine a variety of tools with anthropomorphic robots. For many customers, we have designed specialized cutting, punching, and deburring equipment complete with item dispensers. One of our most popular solution includes the implementation of two anthropomorphic robots on a machine to work pieces to completion while boosting productivity.
